Cupcake Fundraiser

In the wake of the recent tragedy in the Philippines we've decided to make and sell cupcakes at our shop in an attempt to raise some money to aid the Philippines Typhoon Appeal

The cupcakes will be available everyday for the next week for £1 each.
So please visit our shop to pick up a cupcake! All money goes to charity!

The recipe we used and the directions are here too, in case you all want to make some too!

Step 1. Take a random assortment of kitchenware.

Step 2. Gather ingredients together: 110 g self raising flour, caster sugar and butter.
2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 2 tbsp. milk.

Step 3. Bung everything into a blender and hope for the best, or if you're traditional, cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla then fold in the flour.
(I'm lazy so naturally went for the blender method)

Step 4. Lay out the cases and fill them up! I used  one ice cream scoop full per case.

Step 6. Bake at 180C for 15 - 20 minutes (or forget to set the timer start washing up, tidying and doing some laundry and hope for the best!)

Step 7. Leave to cool down and ice with colourful butter cream - 175 g icing sugar, 75 g butter, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 - 2 tbsp. milk.

Step 8. Eat!
